Financial Accountant

ACCPRO have partnered with a leading global insurance firm to recruit for a Financial Accountant to support an international team. The ideal candidate will have a good insurance background. Minimum 12-month FTC with salary c. €70k + bonus and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and management information
• Support close processes and provide financial analysis to guide strategy
• Lead and support systems improvements, automation, and data integrity initiatives
• Maintain and apply US GAAP accounting policies and ensure compliance
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement preparation
• Support regulatory filings and technical accounting documentation
• Uphold strong internal controls, including SOX compliance
• Collaborate with stakeholders and auditors
• Contribute to ad hoc projects and team deliverables

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant
• Strong insurance/reinsurance background
• US GAAP knowledge
• Strong finance systems an advantage
