Lead DevOps Engineer

Smartedge’s Client is looking for an individual to help with their Lead DevOps Engineer @ Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid Working)

Key area:

• Define, Plan and Execute the roadmap of API Platform Team change in conjunction with the Enablement Team PO
• Design and deliver API Platform Team solutions covering:
• CI/CD: Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform
• SCM : Bitbucket / GitHub Enterprise
• JIRA Service Desk Automations
• Security : Fortify (SAST + DAST), XRay (SCA)
• Lead a team of ~10 DevOps and Platform Engineers
• Work closely with the Platform Team Product Owner, and Enterprise Integration Leadership team to:
• SRE: AppDynamics, Grafana, Loki, Cloudwatch, Anypoint
• Ensure Governance is applied through Automation – Quality Gates
• Ensure Coding standards for Enablement Team are in place and applied
• Provide Technical leadership for the team, and ensure Technical prioritisation and priorities considered appropriately by PO
• Ensure that core DevOps tooling, patterns, assets are used
• Ensure versioning of all created assets
• Develop and Mentor junior staff
• Arrange a roster for on-call support as needed by Release
• In conjunction with Engineering Leads
• Support delivery of an excellent Developer Experience
• Support the core frameworks development for Spring and MuleSoft including the integration of testing frameworks
• Support key programme / initiative delivery
