HRM are seeking a Scrum Master for a 12-month contract role with our customer, a well-known leader in Healthcare Solutions.
In this role, you will act as a servant-leader for your squad, driving Agile maturity and ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects. This position requires a balance of coaching, facilitation, and removing blockers to help the team maintain a high-performance trajectory within a regulated environment.

- Location: Hybrid (Minimum 2 days per week on-site)
- Regional Requirement: Candidates must be based within commuting distance of Limerick, Wexford, Kilkenny, or Waterford.
Responsibilities
- Facilitation: Lead all Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Team Coaching: Guide the team on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to deliver high-quality healthcare technology solutions.
- Blocker Removal: Proactively identify and eliminate impediments that hinder the team's progress.
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with Product Owners to manage the backlog, ensuring clear communication between technical teams and healthcare stakeholders.
- Metrics & Reporting: Track and communicate agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burn-down charts) to improve team predictability and transparency.
Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience acting as a dedicated Scrum Master in a software development or tech-focused environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience working within Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, or Life Sciences sectors is highly advantageous.
- Certification: First-level Scrum Master certification (PSM I, CSM) is essential; advanced certifications are a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of the SDLC and Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe).
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance or validated systems (GxP) is a significant bonus.
- Expertise in using Jira and Confluence for workflow management.
- Soft Skills: Strong conflict resolution, servant-leadership mindset, and excellent communication skills.
Logistics: Must be able to commute to one of the designated regional hubs (Limerick, Wexford, Kilkenny, or Waterford) at least twice weekly.
