Senior Project Manager

Overview:

Our client is a leading Irish provider of water and wastewater treatment services, delivering design, construction, and operational solutions for public and private sector clients. The company partners with national utilities and local authorities to manage critical infrastructure and ensure high standards of environmental compliance and water quality. They are looking to hire a Senior Project Manager for their growing team.

This is a full-time on-site role based on the clients site in Ringsend, Dublin.

Responsibilities:

• Management of a project team including design staff, project engineers and support staff across projects.
• Manage the reporting to clients on all aspects of the projects presently under way.
• Have responsibility for tracking the overall Programme of Works being carried out by the Projects Team.
• Support the Technical Director in the delivery of contracts objectives to the companies and client goals and objectives.
• Management and liaison with design teams in a multi-disciplinary environment, providing commercial and technical guidance.
• Effectively maintain and develop healthy client and stakeholder relationships throughout the project from commencement to project close-out.
• Proactively resolve performance, scope, cost and schedule issues.
• In-depth programme planning and scheduling of project deliverables and the development of resource loaded schedules for design and contract administration services.

Requirements:

• Postgraduate Degree in Engineering or related discipline, and Project Management qualifications
• 6+ years in industry (preferably in civil, water and wastewater), contracting experience including site supervision and design.
• Comprehensive knowledge of water and wastewater design and operational processes
• Contract knowledge (FIDIC, NEC, Public Works)
• Successful track record in the delivery of multiple infrastructure contracts
• Competent in use of Microsoft Project/Primavera programming software.
• Competent in use of BIM modelling software
