Product Manager - Tietoevry Banking (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Product Manager who wants to be part of Tietoevry Banking. Tietoevry Banking is the leading financial services software and solution partner in the Nordics. We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented individual to step into the role of Product Manager, taking full ownership of the Loan Management portfolio within Tietoevry Core Banking product management team.

Deposit & Accounts Management, Loan Management, Master Data Management and Archive Services together form the backbone of Core Banking at Tietoevry, working in synergy to support the platform.

As the core system for the bank's loan infrastructure, Loan Management is a key pillar of the Tietoevry Core Banking platform.

This role involves overseeing a broad ecosystem, including subdomains like mortgage company, interest rates, money reference rates, bank guarantees, and more. You'll be responsible for ensuring the functionality and strategic development of this critical system.

Responsibilities:

• P&L
• Bidding & offering
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, and sales, to define product requirements and strategy
• Roadmap ownership – strategy & vision
• Define and prioritize product features based on market demands and customer feedback
• Conduct market research to identify industry trends and customer needs related to the core banking
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of product features
• Create and maintain product documentation
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product releases
• Act as a subject matter expert for loan management, providing guidance to internal teams and clients
• Follow up product compliance related affairs with legal and regulatory requirements
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• University degree in a relevant field (engineering, economy)
• Domain experience in the banking or financial sector may substitute for a formal degree
• Proven experience as a Product Manager, ideally within core banking, financial technology, or loan management
• Familiar with the loan system and functionality, preferably with hands-on experience in a banking environment
• Interested and/or relatively familiar with compliance and regulations within Norwegian banking sector
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Experience in developing and launching successful software products
• English and Norwegian (preferably) language proficient
