Project overview

We are looking for a Java Developer with German to join our team for a new and exciting project in collaboration with one of our clients, a German multinational package delivery and supply chain management company.

The goal of the project is to provide software development services for the client's application, a central platform for email digitization communication, providing services such as OCR engines, address normalization and secure document delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Java
• Implement clean code and conduct regular code reviews to ensure technical excellence.
• Work within a cross-functional team of developers and testers to deliver scalable features.
• Participate in all Agile ceremonies (Sprints, Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives).
• Create and maintain technical documentation for the implemented features.
• Facilitate technical discussions with German-speaking stakeholders to clarify requirements and provide status updates.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in Java & Kotlin.
• Spring Boot: Expert knowledge in developing productive backend services.
• Strong focus on TDD (Test-Driven Development) and JUnit.
• Deep knowledge of Azure, Kubernetes, and container technologies.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Git, and Linux environments.
• Strong Agile Mindset.
• Fluency in English and German (written and spoken).

Nice to have

• Databases: PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Observability: Splunk and Grafana.
• Performance: Error diagnosis and proactive monitoring in cloud environments.

Project 2:

Project overview

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with German to join our team for a new and exciting project in collaboration with one of our clients who plays a key role in the public sector on the German market.

As a Senior Java Developer with German you will be responsible for developing and operating software in one of our projects according to the “you build it, you run it” principle. You strive for great solutions and work within the teams to continuously improve the architecture, software and tooling by leveraging your deep technical experience. We attach great importance to Domain Driven Design, high Coding Standards as well as Continuous Deployment and follow the DevSecOps

approach.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary project team and take the ownership for developing, deploying and operating software solutions.
• Together with your team, you take responsibility for defining and delivering on milestones for each development cycle and the overall project.
• Deliver high quality software by paying strong attention to design patterns, automated tests, scalability, resilience, data security and protection.
• Support other developers in the team with your work and through mentoring, coaching and sparring.
• Develop digital solutions for and with the federal administration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• Experiences in building, maintaining and operating software.
• Experience with the following technologies: Java, Kotlin, Spring, XML formats and PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience with data migrations and batch jobs.
• Experience with the approach Infrastructure as Code as well as with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Working in an agile team, constructively discussing solutions, also giving and getting feedback on a regular basis.
• Positive, outcome-oriented attitude.
• Able to make a compromise and find solutions, both inside the team and the unique constraints of the German government.
• Experience with ways of working in the public administration
• Pragmatic mindset when balancing tradeoffs
• Effective communication with product people
• Speak German on B2 level as we speak both English and German in our daily work.

Project 3:

We are looking for a Java Developer with German skills to join our team in a new project.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• At least 5 years in software development with Java Spring Boot and Angular
• Proven experience with RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux)
• Proven experience with ActiveMQ
• Proven experience with Google Blockly (used for parameterizing validation functions).
• Proven record of working in complex software projects and Agile teams.
• Fluency in German (written and spoken)
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
