Parfums Christian Dior Japon is part of the LVMH group, the largest luxury brand in the world. As a Product Manager/ Assistant Product Manager, Fragrance, you will be expected to plan / execute / review all new / existing product management and animate fragrance sales in each channel. This position is reporting to Group Product Manager, Fragrance in Product Management Group, and located in Tokyo.


MISSION STATEMENT

  • Plan / execute / review all new / existing product management
  • Plan / execute / review national / regional promotions to animate fragrance sales in each channel
  • Handle fragrance services/ event with necessary support
  • Accelerate fragrance omni-channel sales especially on the focus channel(e-commerce/e-retail/MBS)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and execute new product launch from both operation side and strategic side
  • Prepare marketing platform with product concept, launch strategy, launch support co-operating with other departments
  • Prepare / monitor strategic product portfolio for both short / long term
  • Prepare annual marketing calendar for effective implementation to drive fragrance sales growth
  • Prepare national / local promotion programs to assist counter activities and enhance fragrance sales
  • Prepare and provide product information to relevant departments for clear understanding of concept and sales talks.
  • Analyze sales and express in organized report to management with necessary follow up action.
  • Analyze competitors activities.
  • Propose new product development proposal with research/understanding of market trend to MOP.
  • Prepare necessary POSM (tester, sample, blotter) and counter display with VMD.
  • Prepare product collateral materials such as consumer leaflets, handouts with person in charge of creative materials.
  • Develop and check touch point expression with related department (institutional AD with creative, ET with PR, DM with CRM, Digital touchpoint with digital team)
  • Handle necessary registration process. (New item registration, Item Master data management)
  • Follow-up closely logistics by coordinating with Supply Planning and Central Marketing especially at launch / post launch timing to secure stable product delivery
  • Control responsible A&P budget related to product and promotion
  • Regularly visit POS to continuously enhance fragrance sales
  • Coordinate with sales/ training//central team to expand fragrance counseling service
  • Support skincare event with necessary support coordinating with sales team/training team
  • Other tasks directed by supervisors

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

  • Positive attitude plus high level of communication skill to lead people as center of marketing
  • Strong drive to lead project with related departments
  • Anticipate for wide possibilities and resilient for uncertain situation
  • Strategic thinking and able to express the idea in organized way
  • Functional/technical skills – numerical and logistics operation
  • Open minded and trend/digital savvy to seek for innovation
  • Cautious and steady work style
  • Education: University graduate, with major in business, marketing or related discipline preferable
  • Experience: Experience as product marketing in luxury cosmetic brand (Fragrance category preferably)
  • Language: Fluent in English required for both speaking & writing, Japanese native
  • PC Skills: Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Personality: passionate about Dior brand, active, creative, flexible, structured, responsible, opened mind, well organized, likes fragrances, cosmetics and fashion, digital savvy, curious of trend
