Frontend Developer

12 month contract (extendable)

Malmo - 3 days per week in the office

We are looking for a senior frontend developer who wants to be a central part of our development team and contribute to further developing SWITCH as a product. The role requires solid experience in developing modern, user-friendly, and sustainable web interfaces, and that you thrive in a product team where development takes place close to the business, the user, and commercial needs.

• You are self-driven, solution-oriented, and used to taking responsibility for your delivery—from understanding requirements to delivering a finished feature.
• You work in a structured way, collaborate closely with product owners, scrum masters, UX/UI designers, and other developers, and are comfortable actively contributing in an agile way of working according to Scrum.
• You have several years of experience in frontend development for modern web applications.
• You have extensive experience with modern frontend frameworks and component-based development. We work with Angular and TypeScript.
• You have solid experience building reusable, user-friendly, and long-term sustainable interfaces.
• You have experience working with design systems and translating designs from Figma or similar tools into finished functionality.
• You have a good understanding of UX/UI, responsive design, accessibility, and how frontend development contributes to a strong user experience.
• You have experience working in agile development teams and are familiar with Scrum practices, including planning, refinement, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.
• You have a strong ability to translate business needs and requirements into well-functioning technical solutions in close collaboration with product owners, scrum masters, and the development team.
• You have experience working in a structured way in Jira or similar tools and understand the importance of clear task breakdown, transparency, and prioritization in a product team.
• You have experience working close to the product in an environment where business, technology, and user needs must be continuously balanced.

Soft skills

• Knowledge of the energy sector.
• Previous experience in the energy sector, preferably in a product, platform, or organization with complex processes and multiple stakeholders.
