As global demand for digital infrastructure accelerates, they are now undergoing a significant internal transformation to modernise their IT landscape and technology organisation to match their external ambitions.

The opportunity

This is a defining moment in their growth story. They are seeking an exceptional Chief Technology Officer to lead a group-wide modernisation of their IT ecosystem — unifying systems, digitising project delivery, and building a technology foundation capable of supporting a rapidly scaling international business.

Reporting directly to the CEO and sitting on the Executive Leadership Team, you will be the architect of their technology strategy across all group entities — from the Nordics to their wider European operations. You will transform how they design, build, commission, and operate data centres, embedding digital intelligence across the entire supply chain and project lifecycle.

What you will lead

• IT transformation — Overhaul legacy systems and define and deliver a modern, integrated group-wide technology stack
• Data & intelligence — Build data capabilities that drive faster commissioning, cost efficiency, and predictive insight
• Digital project delivery — Digitise end-to-end project workflows from concept and design through to handover
• International scale — Align technology strategy across Nordic and European entities as the group expands
• Security & compliance — Ensure resilient, secure, and compliant systems across multi-jurisdiction operations
• Team & culture — Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing international technology function

What they are looking for

• Proven track record as a CTO or senior technology leader in a capital-intensive, project-driven, or engineering-led industry — construction, infrastructure, energy, or similar
• Deep experience delivering large-scale IT modernisation and digital transformation programmes — not just strategy, but execution
• International leadership experience, comfortable operating across multiple geographies and cultures — Nordic experience a strong plus
• Skilled in cloud architecture, ERP and project management systems, data platforms, and enterprise integration at scale
• A board-level communicator who can align technical investment with commercial outcomes and translate vision into delivery
• Genuine passion for sustainable technology and an understanding of the unique demands of the data centre and digital infrastructure sector

Location & package

Based in Oslo, Norway, with travel across their Nordic and European offices. They offer a highly competitive executive remuneration package including base salary, performance bonus, and benefits commensurate with the seniority of the role. Relocation support is available.
