As the first engineering hire, you will build the infrastructure to make healthcare billing deterministic. You'll scale an ingestion engine tracking thousands of payer policies, converting complex medical necessity criteria into computable contracts. This role involves architecting low-latency APIs and utilizing LLMs to eliminate the adversarial back-and-forth in the insurance system.

What You Will Do

• Design a high-throughput ingestion engine combining web scraping and LLM-powered extraction to track thousands of payer policies.
• Architect a representation layer that converts medical necessity criteria into formal logic and computable contracts.
• Build and maintain production-grade API and MCP endpoints for AI agents to query coverage rules with high accuracy.
