We are seeking a skilled .Net Developer with extensive experience in object-oriented analysis and design using Microsoft Visual C++ or .NET technologies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing robust applications, including embedded systems, with strong knowledge in database development, software localization, and Agile methodologies. The role involves working on multi-threaded software applications, optimizing performance, and managing software life cycles.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and maintain high-quality applications using Microsoft Visual C++ and .NET technology.
  
• Design and implement user interfaces using WPF and Windows Forms.
  
• Utilize SQL databases for application development, including query performance evaluation.
  
• Work on embedded system development with QNX Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and similar platforms.
  
• Perform object-oriented analysis and design (OOA/OOD) using UML formal notations and CASE tools (e.g., Rational Rose, Rhapsody).
  
• Conduct software architecture analysis to ensure testability, maintainability, and necessary redesigns.
  
• Define internal and external software interfaces using industry standards and best practices.
  
• Participate in Agile software development and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from systems requirements to design validation.
  
• Perform timing analysis, resource allocation, and memory management to optimize software performance.
  
• Lead configuration management activities, including management of Subversion or other configuration tools.
  
• Implement build server design, scripting, and deployment automation processes in regulated environments (e.g., medical, aerospace).
  
• Travel occasionally within the U.S. or abroad as required for project assignments.
  
  
  

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  
• 4+ years of experience in configuration management and software development using Microsoft Visual C++, .NET, and C#.
  
• Proficiency in SQL database technology and query optimization.
  
• Experience with UML formal design notation and OOA/OOD CASE tools (e.g., Rational Rose, Rhapsody).
  
• Expertise in embedded systems development with multi-threaded applications and QNX RTOS or similar.
  
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and Web-based communication protocols (SOAP, HTTP, TCP/IP).
  
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as IronPython, Perl, Shell scripting, etc.
  
• Strong understanding of software performance optimization including timing analysis, resource allocation, and memory management.
  
• Experience in regulated industries (e.g., medical, aerospace) and Continuous Process Improvement.
  
• Proficiency with Atlassian toolsets (JIRA, Bamboo) and continuous integration tools.
  
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  
• Ability to travel occasionally based on project needs.
