Manager (Threat Collection) - DIS

What The Role Is

You are responsible for providing early warning of cyber threats and delivering comprehensive cyber threat intelligence assessments to support MINDEF/SAF operations. You will conduct continuous monitoring and analysis to maintain visibility over emerging threats and potential security exposures.

What You Will Be Working On

• Provide continuous monitoring and analysis to support early awareness of emerging cyber threats and maintain visibility over potential information exposure or system issues
• Monitor open-source platforms frequented by cyber threat actors known or likely to target MINDEF/SAF and the Defence sector
• Prepare detailed intelligence reports and disseminate findings to relevant stakeholders
• Procure, develop and implement technical solutions to enhance threat collection operations
  
  

Conduct ongoing research to keep pace with evolving threat landscapes and maintain access to critical information sources

Challenge(s)

• Staying ahead of rapidly evolving cyber threat actors who continuously adapt their tactics, techniques and procedures to evade detection
• Balancing the need for detailed analysis with the requirement to provide timely early warning intelligence in a high operational tempo environment
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• Education in Information Security, Computer Science or Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering related fields
• At least 3 years' of relevant experience is preferred
• Possession of GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) or GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI) or equivalent professional certification is preferred
• Strong attention to detail while maintaining strategic perspective
• Highly motivated with demonstrated initiative to enhance operational effectiveness
• Fast learner with strong team collaboration skills
• Ability to think creatively, improvise and adapt tools and techniques for effective threat collection operations
• Strong research intuition and excellent written communication skills
