Backend Engineer

Senior Backend Engineer at a Series A payments platform backed by Sequoia and Circle. You will own the systems that move real money.

Working directly with the CEO and CTO. Small senior team. Foundational architectural decisions and production systems that ship fast.

Integrations with payment processors, banks, on and off ramps, compliance and identity providers. This is not a maintenance role. It is a build role.

Needed:

-> Deep TypeScript and Node.js experience

-> Track record owning critical backend infrastructure and making architectural decisions that stick

-> Strong distributed systems background: high availability, observability, the full picture

-> Comfortable in a small, fast-moving team where you are setting the standard, not following it

Bonus if you have payments, fintech, or stablecoin experience, or have owned large parts of a backend at an early-stage startup.
