Job Title: React Developer

Duration: 12 month contract with extensions

Location: 5x a week onsite, Bangalore

Compensation: 18-34 lakhs depending on experience

Day to Day

Insight Global is seeking a React Developer to join one of our largest financial services clients and sit in Bengaluru onsite 5 days/week. This person will be joining the Asset Management Trading Technology team, building mission‑critical platforms that support real‑time trading, risk, and investment decision‑making across global markets. This individual will be focused on building and enhancing user‑facing trading applications that support derivatives trading workflows (e.g., creating and improving screens/tools traders use to place, monitor, and manage orders).

On a day‑to‑day basis, this React Developer will partner closely with traders, portfolio managers, and engineers to understand trading workflows and translate them into intuitive, high‑performance UI experiences. They will contribute to application and workflow design, build new features and enhancements, integrate with APIs and event‑driven services for real‑time updates/monitoring, and ensure the UI is scalable, resilient, and production‑ready. The role includes collaborating with global engineering teams (NY + Bengaluru), participating in code reviews, supporting production issues for business‑critical systems, and leveraging AI‑assisted development tools (coding copilots, test generation, code analysis) to improve speed and quality.

Must Haves

• NEED TO START ASAP
• 5+ years of frontend development experience, most relevantly with React
• Hands‑on experience building production‑grade, workflow‑heavy user interfaces in React
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript / JavaScript and modern front‑end patterns (component architecture, state management, performance tuning)
• Experience building real‑time user interfaces (live monitoring, streaming updates, responsive dashboards)
• Solid understanding of APIs and integration patterns between UI and distributed backend services
• Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and be empathetic to users’ needs (traders/PMs) and translate requirements into working software

Pluses

• Exposure to asset management / financial services technology environments
• Experience participating in production support for high‑availability, business‑critical applications
• Experience supporting front‑office trading platforms or building UIs for derivatives trading (options, futures, swaps, structured products)
