Your new role

As a Data Analyst, you will sit within a commercial team and act as a key link between operations and sales, translating complex datasets into actionable insights.


You will:


  • Analyse production, inventory, and sales data to drive performance improvements
  • Build dashboards and visualisations to support decision-making
  • Deliver insights across product, customer, and regional performance
  • Support sales teams with territory planning and reporting
  • Maintain and improve reporting tools and data accuracy
  • Work cross-functionally to align and streamline data processes
  • Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Use statistical and analytical techniques to monitor trends and performance
  • This is a highly collaborative role with broad exposure across commercial and operational functions, focused on improving efficiency, reducing costs, and increasing revenue


What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong experience working with large datasets using SQL and Excel
  • Proven ability to analyse and consolidate complex data sources
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Strong reporting and dashboard development capability
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce) and ERP systems (desirable)
  • Approx. 3+ years’ experience in a similar data-focused role, ideally within manufacturing, distribution, or a related environment
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in data analytics or a related discipline (desirable
