About the role:

We are looking for a Full-Time Data Center Hands and Feet Engineer to work onsite at our client location in Holzminden. Due to stringent SLAs, this role requires complete onsite presence during business hours. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on data center experience and the ability to support basic server or network operations when required.

Required skills:

• 2-3 years of experience in a customer-focused end-user support role and/or data center support
• proven knowledge of physical data center activities
• Valid Driving license (class B)
• German & English language proficiency
• Customer-Focused Support: Experience in a customer-focused end-user support function covering EUC and software/OS installations and support
• Incident Resolution: Proficiency in incident resolution, requests, changes, and problem-solving activities delivered within agreed service level agreements (SLAs)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite Hands and Feet support at the client data center.
• Perform physical data center activities including:
• Racking and stacking of servers and network devices
• Inter-rack and intra-rack cabling
• Power connections and cable management
• Assist with hardware installation, replacement, and decommissioning.
• Support remote teams with troubleshooting and break/fix activities.
• Handle assigned Incidents, Service Requests, and Change tasks.
• Ensure adherence to defined SLAs and operational procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ticket updates.
