Software Developer – Governance Product Line (iBabs)

This position is for a Software Developer in the Governance product line, responsible for software development activities of iBabs.

Key Skills & Experience Required

Core .NET Development

• Strong experience with .NET (preferably .NET 6/7/8) and ASP.NET Core
• Solid programming skills in C#
• Experience with .NET Core / .NET Framework
• Good understanding of Entity Framework / EF Core and LINQ
• Familiarity with dependency injection and clean coding practices

Application Development

• Hands-on experience building Web APIs and RESTful services
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC / ASP.NET Core applications
• Exposure to microservices architecture and scalable systems
• Experience working on real-world applications (e.g., portals, dashboards, enterprise apps)

Cloud & Azure

• Experience with Microsoft Azure services
• Working knowledge of:
• Azure App Service
• Azure Functions
• Azure SQL Database
• Azure Storage (Blob, Queue)
• Azure Key Vault
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines

Version Control & Collaboration

• Strong experience with Git (GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket)
• Understanding of branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews
• Experience working in collaborative development environments

Build, Deployment & DevOps

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as:
• Azure DevOps Pipelines
• GitHub Actions
• Jenkins / Octopus Deploy
• Understanding of build → test → deploy lifecycle

Testing & Code Quality

• Experience with unit and integration testing
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as:
• xUnit
• NUnit
• MSTest
• Experience with mocking frameworks (e.g., Moq, FakeItEasy)

API & Integration

• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and API design principles
• Experience with Swagger / OpenAPI
• Knowledge of authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth 2.0)
• Experience integrating third-party APIs

Agile & Delivery

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira or Azure Boards
• Ability to estimate tasks, manage workload, and meet deadlines
