In this key role, you will be directly at the forefront of the energy transformation. You will be responsible for the massive expansion of the thermal networks and ensure that the region's strategic climate goals are achieved both technically and economically. Your added value lies in the successful coordination of highly complex infrastructure projects that form the backbone of regional decarbonization.
Your responsibilities
- Project management: Holistic management of infrastructure projects in the field of district heating networks with a focus on pipeline construction and thermal systems.
- Management & Controlling: Ensuring compliance with costs, deadlines and quality standards after project handover.
- Stakeholder management: Coordination and negotiation with specialist planners, construction companies, authorities, municipalities and internal experts.
- Risk management: Continuous assessment of project risks and proactive implementation of countermeasures.
- Reporting: Creation of status reports for management and transparent communication to all stakeholders, including escalation management.
- Implementation: Conceptual planning, tendering, awarding of contracts and on-site monitoring of construction.
What qualifications are required
- Education: Technical degree (HF, FH, Uni or ETH) in the fields of energy/building technology (HVAC), civil engineering, mechanical engineering or similar.
- Experience: At least 5 years of sound experience in project management, ideally in the field of heat networks, plant engineering or in the energy, infrastructure or plant engineering industry.
- Expertise: Knowledge of hydraulics and/or civil engineering as well as experience in the planning and implementation of large pipeline projects.
- Soft skills: Excellent communication skills and diplomatic skills in dealing with different interest groups.
- Working style: Structured, independent working style with the ability to manage several complex projects in parallel.
- Business mindset: Understanding of business relationships and confident handling of project key performance indicators.
