About The Role

• We are looking for a highly skilled Data Analyst to join a growing Data & AI function within a domain-driven organization in the banking sector.
• This role is critical to strengthening reporting, data visualization, and analytical capabilities, supporting key areas such as Retail & Commercial Banking.
• You will work in a modern Azure-based data platform, collaborating closely with Data Engineers, Analytics teams, and business stakeholders in a fast-evolving environment that is increasingly leveraging AI and agent-based data workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for business-critical use cases.
• Translate business requirements into data models, KPIs, and visual insights.
• Work with domain teams to ensure consistent and trusted reporting across the organization.
• Perform data analysis and exploration using Python and/or SQL.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure data quality, availability, and performance.
• Contribute to data validation and QA processes, including emerging agent-based approaches.
• Support stakeholders in understanding data and driving data-driven decision making.
• Ensure adherence to data governance and domain-oriented data principles.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst in data-driven environments (preferably banking or financial services).
• Strong expertise in Power BI (data modelling, DAX, performance optimization).
• Solid knowledge of SQL and data querying.
• Experience with Python for data analysis (e.g., Pandas).
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and analytical data models.
• Experience working in Azure data environments (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Data bricks).
• Ability to work with large-scale datasets and distributed environments (e.g., Spark is a plus).
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Nice To Have

• Experience in Retail & Commercial Banking analytics.
• Exposure to domain-driven data architectures (Data Mesh or similar).
• Experience working with AI-enabled analytics or agent-based workflows.
• Knowledge of data quality frameworks and testing.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery environments.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
