Senior Frontend Engineer

Pedago Labs is an EdTech company building Bizy, a learning app designed to help professionals master AI in their daily workflows.

We have just launched to an initial audience, and now we are setting ourselves up to scale. We need a Senior Frontend Engineer to take ownership of the app experience across mobile, web, quality, design systems, and release delivery.

This is a hands-on product engineering role for someone who has built and shipped real products, ideally from early app development through App Store and Google Play distribution.

What you'll do

• Lead frontend and mobile development for Bizy
• Build user-facing native apps and web apps using React, React Native, TypeScript, and GraphQL
• Work closely with the CTO to define frontend/mobile strategy and execute it
• Set up and improve UI/UX foundations together with design and product
• Build and maintain design systems and component systems
• Own quality practices for the app, with a focus on automation and fast delivery
• Work with subscription-based models using Apple and Google payments
• Manage app release cycles for Apple App Store and Google Play
• Work with analytics, monitoring, CI/CD, and feedback loops to improve the product continuously

What we're looking for

• 6+ years of frontend/product engineering experience, or equivalent experience building and running mobile apps from scratch
• Strong experience with React, React Native, TypeScript, and GraphQL
• Experience building native apps from early development through production distribution
• Experience testing native apps and setting up practical quality processes
• Strong product sense and care for UI/UX quality
• Ability to work independently, make technical recommendations, and execute with high ownership
• Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving startup team
• Based in Sweden and able to work from our office in central Stockholm
• Fluent in English

• Experience with animations and polished app interactions
• Experience using AI agents or AI coding tools as part of development
• Experience building and releasing your own apps
• Experience with app subscriptions, in-app purchases, or mobile payment flows
• Experience with Sentry, Statsig, GitHub Actions, or similar tools

Location and employment

This is a full-time permanent role based in central Stockholm. English is enough for the role.
