The Mission: Empower the hands that build our physical world
The world is built and maintained by people in the field: technicians on wind turbines, engineers in factories, and specialists keeping our infrastructure alive. In the EU and US, we face a systemic crisis: a massive expertise gap that threatens to bring the energy transition and the broader physical economy to a halt.
At Perry, our mission is societal. We unlock the potential of the physical workforce by building the AI Field Operating System. We turn complex knowledge and paper manuals into interactive operator dialogues with AI, creating a unified platform for Safety, Quality, Training, and Asset Management.

We are VC-funded by Revent (Berlin) and backed by angels from OpenAI and Google DeepMind. Our founders, Laurens Feenstra and Arie Kuiper, bring years of leadership experience from Google, Waymo, and McKinsey and have led VC-funded startups like BuyBay before.
The role: Founding GTM engineer
The product is amazing. Early customers are live. The founding team is selling. Now we need someone who can build pipeline systematically so Arie's time is spent where it matters most: in front of customers.
This is not a supporting hire. It is an entrepreneurial role. You are building the foundation of a scalable commercial motion and the beginning of the commercial team. The person who takes this role will have more influence over how Perry goes to market than anyone hired after them.
Two customer personas drive Perry's commercial motion right now:
- Operations and Project Directors at complex installation companies (solar, EV charging, battery storage) motivated by rework cost and first-time-right rates.
- Operations Directors at utility contractors serving DSOs and TSOs motivated by audit readiness and regulatory obligation.
The Netherlands is the primary market now; international expansion begins within twelve months.
What you can expect in the first six months:
- Build and operate the outbound machine working closely with Arie: enriched ICP lists in tools like Clay, Amplemarket, LinkedIn and Claude
- Get Perry in front of the right audiences: customers, industry events, roundtables, contractor networks.
- Come back from every customer conversation with signal: what moved the prospect, what didn't, and why
- Iterate the message based on what actually works, not what sounds right in a meeting room
As the role grows:
- Own the full commercial toolkit: PLG content, commercial templates, outbound playbook
- Help shape how Perry expands beyond the Netherlands
- Build the foundation that a future sales team runs on
The team and your profile
Creating a world-class product requires a world-class team. We are intentionally building an elite, high-density unit that stays lean by design. Your colleagues come with experience creating music with AI or working on the LHC at CERN.

What we expect from you:
- Three to five years in a commercial or growth role where you had to figure things out rather than execute someone else's playbook. We need proof you've built, not just run.
- You have built a cold outbound system from scratch. You can tell what worked, what didn’t and why
- You communicate clearly and credibly: in a sequence, in a conversation, in a room full of ops directors.
- You are wired to close things and genuinely uncomfortable when the pipeline is not moving.
- You feel good about contributing to the energy transition and ask real questions about it. Industry knowledge can be learned; the curiosity needs to already be there.
- Presence: We work 4 days a week from our office in Utrecht. We believe high-bandwidth, in-person collaboration is essential to our mission.
