🚀 Hiring: Senior IC Infrastructure Engineer (Ledger & Settlement) | AI-Native Settlement Network | UK, NL, PT

At UNYX AI, we are bridging the gap between traditional regulated finance and Web3 infrastructure. For the first time, we are inventing a true alternative to the cross-border payment monopoly built by American correspondent banks in the 1970s—a legacy system the entire global economy remains completely dependent on today.

Our culture is high-energy, fast-paced, and tightly knit. We operate with high engineering rigor but zero corporate bureaucracy. Right now, we are looking for a Senior Individual Contributor (100% hands-on) to join our core team.

Note: This is a pure builder role. We are looking for an elite hands-on engineer who wants to stay deep in the codebase and architecture, not a people manager or hands-off tech lead.

What you will do:

You will build our core transaction engine. You will work on deterministic settlement systems, routing engines, liquidity orchestration, and distributed ledger infrastructure.

• Design and implement deterministic double-entry ledger infrastructure and high-throughput transaction processing systems.
• Build graph-based routing and pathfinding systems for multi-hop asset settlement.
• Develop execution adapters for custodians, exchanges, banking rails, and blockchain networks.
• Implement settlement atomicity, rollback handling, and reconciliation systems.

Who we are looking for:

• Startup Tested: You thrive in early-stage, high-velocity environments and have a strong bias toward execution.
• Fintech/Web3 Veteran: You are comfortable close to execution engines, reliability boundaries, and financial correctness guarantees. You understand custody, stablecoin infrastructure, and EVM mechanics.
• Deeply AI-Native: You use LLMs, Cursor/Copilot, and agentic workflows daily to fuzz test, generate simulations, scaffold infrastructure, and debug.
• The Stack: Strong experience with Go, Rust, or Zig. You know your way around Postgres, TigerBeetle-style ledgers, Kubernetes, and OpenTelemetry.
