At New Electric, we electrify heavy machinery. From electric drivetrains to high-voltage battery systems, we design, prototype, and build the systems that power the future of construction equipment—right here in Breukelen.

Over the last 17 years, we’ve grown into a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians with expertise in software, mechanical, and electrical systems. Our workshop and design offices are integrated, enabling rapid innovation and small-series production.

As our projects scale in size and complexity, we’re looking for a skilled Project Manager to keep development on track, teams aligned, and customers informed.

We’re seeking a Project Manager to lead the coordination and delivery of our electrification projects—from initial planning through to production and deployment.

You’ll manage timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication while working closely with our engineering, workshop, and commercial teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a technical environment and enjoys turning complex challenges into clear action plans.

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee technical projects from concept to delivery
• Act as the central point of contact between internal teams, customers, and suppliers
• Create and manage project timelines, resource allocations, and milestone tracking
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to align priorities and resolve blockers
• Track progress, identify risks, and proactively adjust plans to stay on target
• Communicate project updates to internal and external stakeholders
• Support documentation, reporting, and budgeting for ongoing projects
• Help improve project workflows as we scale and take on more complex builds

•  A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering  or a related field
• Solid understanding of multidisciplinary product development (mechanical, electrical, software)
• Experience managing technical projects or engineering teams (2+ years preferred)
• Strong communication and organizational skills—you’re great at keeping people aligned
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate changing priorities
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a bonus)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on engineering environment
