Python Backend Engineer

Location: Oslo / Hybrid

Purpose

These roles focus on backend and infrastructure development in Python for the AAM platform. This is a software engineering position, not a data science role.

You’ll work on building and operating reliable backend services and data pipelines, with an emphasis on maintainability, automation, and production‑grade engineering practices.

Required Skills

• Strong Python with a production engineering mindset
• Commitment to clean code, testing, and CI/CD discipline
• Solid Linux skills and command‑line fluency
• Experience building backend services or data pipelines
• Comfortable using AI‑assisted coding tools

Nice to Have

• Argo Workflows experience (strong plus)
• Kubernetes
• Azure
• Familiarity with oil & gas data formats (Parquet, RESQML, LAS)
