Senior Front End Designer

• Strong experience across React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5/CSS, APIs and modern front-end frameworks
• 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extension options
• Must hold minimum NV1 Security Clearance

They deliver information-sharing solutions at the state, territory and federal levels to ensure that essential information is available to all law enforcement agencies across Australia

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Front-End Developer to contribute to high-impact national systems that support critical government services. You will play a key role in delivering modern, user-focused digital solutions, working on complex platforms that require scalability, performance, and seamless user experience across multiple projects and enhancements.

Your duties will include:

• Designing and developing front-end components and user interfaces for enterprise applications
• Enhancing and maintaining existing systems to improve usability and performance
• Contributing to system integration and interface uplift initiatives
• Performing code reviews, testing, and quality assurance activities

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

• Proven experience developing front-end applications using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI/UX design principles
• Experience working within Agile or Waterfall delivery environments
• Ability to integrate with APIs and work across complex system architectures
• Experience with enterprise environments including Java/JEE, Kubernetes, or similar technologies
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
