• Java backend experience with Spring Boot (including MVC, Security, WebFlux) Familiar with CI/CD and Git based workflows (e.g. GitLab)Solid experience with core AWS services (e.g. SQS, S3, DynamoDB, Lambda)Proven experience leading REST API design with secure, maintainable, and versioned interfaces
• Java backend experience with Spring Boot

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test secure, maintainable REST APIs (Spring Boot, WebFlux)
• Lead and design CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and observability
• Lead or contribute to service architecture, code reviews, and system design
• Mentor engineers through pairing, feedback, and technical guidance
• Support production defect resolution and performance troubleshooting
• Work collaboratively in Agile, cross-functional squads

Requirements

Essential

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years Java backend experience with Spring Boot (including MVC, Security, WebFlux)
• Proven experience leading REST API design with secure, maintainable, and versioned interfaces
• Deep testing expertise across unit, integration, and performance levels using tools like JUnit, Mockito, and WireMock
• Familiar with CI/CD and Git-based workflows (e.g. GitLab)
• Solid experience with core AWS services (e.g. SQS, S3, DynamoDB, Lambda)
• Understanding of distributed systems concepts (scalability, resilience, consistency)
• Experience with integration platforms (e.g. MuleSoft, Apache Camel, etc.) or solid knowledge of integration patterns such as message routing, transformation, or publish-subscribe
• Experience mentoring engineers and promoting engineering best practices
• Experience with API Gateways (e.g. Apigee).
