About The Role

Bio Gro is looking for a professional, motivated & hardworking individual to join our Finance team as our Undergraduate/Assistant Accountant in a full-time position located at our Mount Gambier, South Australia site.

This position is a hands on, commercial role and would suit someone early in their accounting career who is keen to develop practical corporate accounting skills and grow within a supportive, team-based environment.

This Role May Suit

• An undergraduate accounting or commerce student
• Someone transitioning from public practice and looking to move into a commercial environment
• An experienced finance administrator who has completed (or is completing) an accounting degree and is keen to progress their career
  
  

You will work closely with experienced accountants and the broader business, gaining exposure to both fundamentals and more complex accounting matters.

Responsibilities

• Supporting core accounting activities including reconciliations, journals and month-end processes
• Assisting with management reporting and analysis
• Contributing to finance and business improvement projects
• Gaining exposure to system and IT integrations, data and reporting workflows
• Developing a strong understanding of how finance supports commercial and operational decision-making
  
  

About You

• An accounting or commerce background (completed or in progress)
• Interest in commercial and corporate accounting and how businesses operate
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail and willingness to learn
• A collaborative mindset and ability to work well within a team environment
• Motivation to develop, take on responsibility and build a long-term caree
