Your Role

As an AI Application Engineer at Nostrion, you design and build scalable AI workflows that can be reused across multiple customer environments and use cases. You work on the orchestration layer that makes LLM functionality reliable, controllable, and production-ready within a broader software platform.

You focus on prompt optimization, structured output control, model routing, evaluation logic, and workflow stability. Rather than creating one-off AI features, you develop generalizable patterns that support product scalability and model flexibility. You ensure the platform remains model-agnostic where needed and that performance, cost, and output quality can be measured and improved systematically.

You also contribute to evaluation frameworks that help compare prompts, workflows, and model behavior over time. Your work is essential in making AI functionality dependable and enterprise-ready.

What Do You Bring?

You have experience building AI-powered applications and understand the practical challenges of integrating LLMs into real software products. You are familiar with prompt design, output validation, workflow orchestration, and the limitations of probabilistic systems.

You think beyond demos and prototypes and understand what is needed to operationalize AI reliably. You are comfortable working with APIs, Python-based backend systems, and evaluation approaches that improve quality and consistency. You care about scalability, maintainability, and the balance between flexibility and control.

Experience with multiple model providers, RAG patterns, evaluation tooling, and guardrail design is a strong plus.

Your Team

You work closely with Platform Engineers, Product, and other AI Engineers to translate product needs into reusable AI capabilities that can be deployed at scale.
