As a preferred supplier to one of our biggest Financial Clients, I am seeking for an AI Engineer for a position in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The successful AI Engineer will focus on embedding existing AI tooling into real product workflow, enabling intelligent search, discovery, and explanation while maintaining trust, explainability and governance. Operates at the intersection of product, data and technology to ensure AI is delivered as a reliable and controlled product capability.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate existing AI platforms and services into the Product Catalogue
• Implement AI enabled features such as guided search and intelligent discovery
• Ensure AI behaviour is grounded in catalogue data, taxonomy and domain rules
• Collaborate with Product Manager and Tech IT lead to respect definitions and constraints
• Work with front end and back end engineers to embed AI safely in product flows
• Monitor quality, edge cases and failure modes of AI enabled features

What you bring

• Strong engineering background with interest or experience in AI enabled features
• Experience integrating complex external or internal services into products
• Pragmatic approach focused on reliability, explainability and user value
• Ability to work closely with product management and domain experts

Contract: 7 months+

Rates: Excellent

Interview: 2 stages, 1 technical + 1 assessment
