Senior Manager: Treasury and Corporate Finance

As part of your portfolio as Senior Manager: Treasury and Corporate Finance, you will be.:
- Responsible for active management, decision making, development of efficient strategies towards the determination, implementation, and execution of Fintech Holdco financial market instruments within the broad mandate including risk management, yield enhancement, foreign exchange, and money market transactions
- Accountable to drive and steer the long-term capital financing and investment strategy consolidation. The role will support Fintech Group Leadership with strategic decision-making processes to ensure appropriate resource allocation. The incumbent is required to lead the Capital, Investment and Funding processes to ensure that principles, practices and methods are clearly understood and strictly adhered to
- Responsible to work with the Group Fintech Treasury teams to ensure alignment between the Netherlands and South African entities and ensure knowledge sharing and efficiency creation
The incumbent must have the following:
- A university Degree In Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent
- Post graduate Degree in Finance and/or equivalent
- 8 - 10 years of relevant experience in Tax Management
- 8 - 10 years of relevant experience in Treasury, Capital Management / Capital / Corporate finance Investment & funding roles
- 3 - 5 years of relevant working managerial experience in the Financial Services, Fintech, Banking sectors
- Proven experience in working in Corporate/HoldCo HQs
- Good understanding of the Dutch participation exemption, interest deduction rules, fiscal unity regulations, mergers, structuring/restructuring, liquidations, withholding taxes, tax treaties
- Working experience in foreign exchange and money market dealing, loan administration, foreign payments settlements and confirmation, forex reconciliations
- Extensive exchange control knowledge and experience is essential
- Knowledge of the Dutch/NL GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
- Experience working in a medium to large organization
- Language proficiency: English and Dutch
