Chief Technology & Product Officer (CTO / CPO) – Stockholm

We are partnered with a venture-backed, high-growth AI company redefining how modern commerce operates. The business is building a next-generation intelligence platform for enterprise customers, leveraging applied AI to transform how digital products are discovered, optimised, and monetised at scale. Already operating at significant volume with global customers, the company is now entering a critical phase of growth under new executive leadership with a proven track record of scaling and exiting high-growth businesses.

This is not a typical leadership hire. This is a foundational, company-shaping role.

We are looking for a rare hybrid leader – a CTO/CPO who combines:

You will own the entire product and technology function, from vision through execution, and play a central role in shaping the company’s next stage of growth. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy position where you will operate as a true partner to the CEO and leadership team.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

1. Define & Drive Product + Technology Vision

• Set a clear, opinionated product strategy and roadmap
• Ensure all development aligns to commercial outcomes and customer value
• Bridge the gap between AI capability and real-world SaaS impact

2. Build & Scale the Organisation

• Lead and develop engineering, product, and data teams
• Introduce clear structure, accountability, and high-performance culture
• Hire, retain, and elevate top-tier talent

3. Own Technical Direction

• Oversee platform architecture, scalability, and performance
• Make key decisions across infrastructure, AI, and product systems
• Ensure the platform can scale to meet enterprise demand and growth

4. Drive Execution & Delivery

• Increase velocity and quality of delivery
• Implement scalable processes and workflows
• Ensure the team is consistently shipping high-impact features

5. Align Technology with Revenue

• Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and leadership

This role is aimed at high-calibre, entrepreneurial technology leaders who have operated in fast-scaling environments. You will likely bring:

• Proven experience as a CTO, CPO, VP Engineering, or VP Product in a high-growth SaaS company
• Track record of scaling a business from early stage (Seed/Series A) to growth stage (Series B/C)
• Experience working in AI-driven or data-intensive products
• Strong background in B2B SaaS environments
• Strong technical foundation (you’ve been hands-on earlier in your career)
• Comfortable going deep when needed (architecture, trade-offs, scaling challenges)
• Highly opinionated on product, UX, and system design
• Clear perspective on how AI should be leveraged commercially
• Founder mentality - ownership, urgency, and accountability
• Proven ability to build, scale, and lead high-performing teams
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and high-growth environments
• Willing to challenge, iterate, and drive change quickly
• Strong understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, retention, growth), Customer value creation and Product-market fit dynamics

~0–20% hands-on technical involvement (as needed)
