About The Role

As an AI Engineering Intern, you will join Nordiska’s AI Team and work in a modern cloud-based fintech environment where AI is applied to real business problems in financial services. This internship is designed for current Master’s students who want hands-on experience with agentic AI, generative AI, and applied machine learning while learning how AI solutions are built in a product-focused and regulated environment.

What You'll Do

As an AI Engineering Intern, some of your key responsibilities are:

• Build and experiment with AI-powered prototypes, primarily using Python.
• Develop and improve agentic AI workflows and AI-driven features.
• Work with LLMs, retrieval, tooling, and evaluation as part of applied AI development.
• Collaborate with engineers and data specialists to turn ideas into practical solutions.
• Learn how AI systems are built, tested, and iterated in a cloud-based production environment.
  
  

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in a technical field such as engineering, computer science, data science, machine learning, or a related area.
• Strong Python skills and an interest in building practical AI applications.
• A solid foundation in machine learning, statistics, or data-driven problem solving.
• Interest in agentic AI, generative AI, LLMs, and modern AI tooling.
• Familiarity with RAG, vector databases, AI agents, workflow orchestration, evals, or MCP.
• Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, with the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
