About The Team

AI Enablement is the centre of gravity for automation and integration internally at Legora. The AI & Integrations Engineering pod is the build muscle behind our automate-and-integrate-the-enterprise strategy. Workplace Technology builds our capabilities to support Legora at scale.

These are founding engineering roles: we build and operate the Claude / MCP integrations, agents, automations, observability, and the internal-platform infrastructure that Legora runs itself, and we partner with Information Security on compliance-as-code and detection & response. You should be equally comfortable automating things with AI or with traditional deterministic integrations. You must have experience building with Claude Code.

What You'll Be Doing

• Build internal skills, plugins, MCP integrations, agents, and cross-system automations against Claude, Claude Code, and the Anthropic Admin / Enterprise API.
• Ship integrations and automations from AI Programme Manager specs — deterministic or agentic as the problem demands.
• Stand up and operate AWS accounts and IaC foundations for self-hosted internal apps (Gumloop, Serval, and the next ones) — CI/CD, runtime guardrails, observability.
• Build compliance-as-code and automated evidence collection alongside Information Security; build and run detection & response (SIEM tuning, detections, IR playbooks, on-call) for the corporate and production environments.
• Operate observability, alerting, and runtime guardrails across the AI / integrations / infrastructure surface; participate in on-call.
  
  

Who You Are

• 6+ years engineering experience for the Senior track; 10+ years and a track record of influencing technical direction across teams for the Staff anchor.
• A proficient software developer with hands-on experience in agentic software development with Claude Code — this is the core requirement.
• Experienced and comfortable developing in TypeScript; Python is a plus.
• Pragmatic about deterministic vs agentic — you reach for whichever fits the problem rather than fitting the problem to your favorite tool.
• Curious, builder-minded, and fluent partnering with non-engineers (program managers, security, business stakeholders) to ship outcomes rather than just code.
  
  

Optional Experiences

• Production experience with the Anthropic Admin / Enterprise API and MCP integration patterns.
• Infrastructure-as-code (Pulumi or Terraform) and AWS at multi-account scale (IAM, VPC, ECS / EKS / Lambda, RDS, secrets, observability).
• CI/CD pipeline design and secrets / KMS management.
• LLM operational concerns — MCP gateways, tool-use telemetry, prompt-injection detection, model governance.
• IAM fundamentals and SAML / SCIM integration patterns.
• SIEM tuning and detection engineering; SOC 2 fieldwork, control mapping, and evidence production.
• Experience self-hosting third-party SaaS-style applications (Gumloop, Serval, n8n, Airbyte, Temporal, Retool) for internal use.
