Job Title: Data Analyst

Job Role:

The Data Analyst is responsible for highly analytical and detail-oriented analysis to collect, analyze, visualize, and interpret business data to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in data analysis, ETL processes, dashboard development and reporting using any visualization tools, preferably Power BI. Advance excel is must, combined with the ability to translate data into impactful business insights and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and objectives.
• Design and implement robust data pipelines for efficient data extraction, loading, and transformation (ELT) processes.
• Analyze large datasets by using statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business goals.
• Clean and transform data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Identify, understand the reason behind it, and take actions to resolve data quality issues.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to improve business processes for decision-making.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience: 8-10 years would be preferable.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field with at least 5+ years of software development experience
• 5+ years of experience working in the analytics stack as a Data Analyst or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Strong in Advance excel and Power Point.
• Hands-on experience with visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Hands-on experience with Python. Must have complete understanding of analytical libraries.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
• Intellectual curiosity and analytical follow-through (you always ask “why?” and think about how you could answer that question).
• Superior analytical, problem-structuring, and visualization skills - you can get to the heart of a problem, identify what you need to answer the question, and present it in a manner that will inform decision-making.
