Connectivity encompasses the creation of mobile applications and the integration of the digital experience with BRP’s recreational vehicles, as well as the intelligent use of collected data. Your role will be to propose innovative concepts that deliver added value for our customers, dealers, and internal teams. Your mission: oversee and support the local mobile team to ensure high‑quality deliveries aligned with global technical standards.

As the Team Lead, Mobile Development within the Connectivity & Application Development team, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting the mobile development team based in Brazil in their technical execution and delivery of connectivity initiatives. You will be accountable for ensuring code quality, applying best practices, and maintaining smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily priorities and work planning for the mobile team.
  • Support developers in resolving technical and organizational challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with development standards, code review practices, and security best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with your supervisor and the QA teams to deliver high‑quality releases.
  • Participate in technical sprint planning and estimation activities.
  • Foster the team’s skill development and strengthen local cohesion.
  • Contribute to documentation efforts and the continuous improvement of processes.

Profile Required

  • 5+ years of experience in native mobile development (Kotlin, Swift) or multiplatform development (Kotlin Multiplatform).
  • Experience with Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi protocols; databases (MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB); API protocols (REST & GraphQL); and Azure Cloud services.
  • Experience supervising or technically mentoring a team.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate remotely.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control tools (Git), and API integrations.
  • Strong rigor, proactivity, and natural technical leadership.
  • Ability to communicate daily with internal and external stakeholders located outside of Québec, including in Brazil or English‑speaking regions. Knowledge of Portuguese is an asset.
