Junior UI/UX Engineers

Role Overview

We are looking for Junior UI/UX Engineers to design user-focused application interfaces and end-to-end experiences. The role involves conducting research, creating intuitive workflows, and ensuring solutions are usable, accessible, and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research and usability testing to understand user needs.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
• Design intuitive, user-friendly, and accessible interfaces.
• Continuously test, review, and refine designs.
• Ensure alignment with business goals and user expectations.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and stakeholders.
• Drive design quality, consistency, reuse, and innovation.
• Integrate designs seamlessly into broader application processes.

Required Skills

• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.

Experience working with design tools such as:

• Figma.
• Adobe XD.

Basic knowledge of:

• User research methods.
• Interaction design and usability standards.

Nice to have:

• Basic HTML / CSS / JavaScript knowledge.

Candidate Profile

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT / Computer Science / Design or related field.
• Graduate from a top university in Romania or Europe.

Experience

• 0–3 years of experience.
• Strong fresh graduates with relevant knowledge and projects are welcome.

Selection Criteria & Process

Candidates must:

• Be available for immediate start or short notice.
• Be open to on-site / hybrid work (remote excluded).

Must participate in:

• 2 interview rounds (HCLTech TP1 + Customer interview).
