Role: DevOps Engineer

Location: Melbourne

Salary Range: 82,544- 90,270 AUD Annual Gross

Please Note:- The above salary range is only indicative and maybe subject to suitable enhancements, based on internal company processes

  • Responsibilities:
    • Manage and mentor a team of developers with diverse skills and experience levels
    • Working closely with Product owners and scrum masters to deliver outcomes
    • build relationships with our customers and stakeholders to understand their requirements and design appropriate solutions
    • Working & taking care of network concepts like DNS & SSL concepts like Certificate management
    • Defining and Implementing GIT Branching Strategy
    • Design and Implement CI/CD Pipeline which includes Building docker images, deployment of APIs and microservices using latest technologies
    • Using of modern popular CNCF frameworks such as Helm, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Operator Framework etc.
    • Participate in the team’s agile rituals to give updates, remove blockers, and plan upcoming work as well as work collaborative with the team to design solutions to features.
    • Working with distributed agile teams across Melbourne and Bangalore;
    • Participating in planning and review meetings, and completing project deliverables
    • Excellent written and verbal communication & collaboration skills
  • CI/CD
    • Must have hands-on experience in CI/CD Tools such as Jenkins, Code fresh, Git Hub Actions
    • Must have hands-on experience in GIT
  • Kubernetes
    • Must have hands-on experience in Enterprise Grade Kubernetes platform
    • Must have hands-on experience in Docker, Helm, Image Artifactory Tools
    • Good to have certification in Kubernetes.
    • Must to have experience in RedHat OpenShift Platform
    • Must have hands-on experience in Terraform
  • Cloud
    • Must have hands-on experience in services offered by Cloud Providers – AWS or GCP
    • Good to have experience or knowledge on Infrastructure as a Code solutions as AWS CFT, Google Cloud Deployment Manager
    • Good to have knowledge on VMware Cloud Foundation
  • OS and Security
    • Must have hands-on experience working on Linux and Windows based Infrastructure
    • Must have hands-on experience in shell / scripting languages, Bash
    • Must have knowledge on SSL/TLS, Certificates, Vulnerabilities Management (Application and OS)
  • Observability
    • Good to have experience in NewRelic
    • Good to have knowledge in using the monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus
  • Application Modernization
    • Must have experience in containerizing and deployment of Monolithic or Microservices based Application.
    • Good to have knowledge and experience in Python scripting
    • Good to have knowledge on Message Queues – Kakfa, IBM MQ
  • Skills Required:
Essential

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Participating in Daily Standups and weekly reviews
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of Business, emerging technologies in relevant industry / domain, strong understanding of trends (market and technology) in areas of specialization.
