OBSS is looking for a Full Stack NodeJS Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to delivering end-to-end software solutions across diverse industries. You will work on cutting-edge projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications that solve real business problems.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and React/Next.js with clean, efficient, and scalable code.
• Design and implement high-performance backend services using Fastify, ensuring low latency and high throughput.
• Manage real-time data streaming and caching strategies using Kafka and Redis.
• Build, containerize, and orchestrate applications using Docker and Kubernetes to ensure seamless deployment across environments.
• Integrate and manage database layers using TypeORM, ensuring data integrity and optimized queries.
• Implement and monitor system performance and tracing using OpenTelemetry to maintain high system reliability.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure the codebase meets quality, security, and efficiency standards.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices, suggesting innovations to improve system architecture and developer experience.

Qualifications / Technical Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Node.js development.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript patterns.
• Deep understanding of React and Next.js for frontend development.
• Proven experience with Fastify framework (preferred) or Express.
• Experience with message brokers and caching layers, specifically Kafka and Redis.
• Familiarity with ORM tools, preferably TypeORM.
• Solid knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Familiarity with observability tools and standards, such as OpenTelemetry, is a plus.
• Proficient in Git version control and collaborative workflows.
• Experience working with relational databases (SQL) and database design.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Result-oriented team player with analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Ability to approach AI with curiosity and intention, actively incorporating AI-powered tools into workflows to enhance productivity and drive innovation.
