Junior Software Engineer

Title: Junior Fullstack Software Developer

Duration: 8 month contract (Feb 2027)

Location: 2x onsite in Toronto, ON (Downtown)

Pay range: $32-$37 per hour

Insight Global is seeking a motivated and passionate Full Stack Software Developer to join a dynamic team working across a variety of modern application development projects. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to full-stack development initiatives, with a strong focus on coding, API development, and system integrations.

The ideal candidate is analytically driven, eager to learn, and excited to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to cutting-edge technologies including Unqork and cloud-based integrations.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 2+ years of experience as a full stack software developer
• Strong proficiency in Python for backend development
• Experience working with React and/or Angular for front-end development
• Exposure to API development and system integrations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Passion for software development and eagerness to grow within the field
• Bachelors in Computer Engineering or similar (ideally from the University of Waterloo or Toronto)
• Strong portfolio with post-grad work

Nice to have skills and experience:

• Start-up environment experience
