Scrum Master (NV1)

Our client requires a scum master who can undertake the following responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Product Owner.
• Leads and coaches the Scrum processes for the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT).
• Facilitates Scrum ceremonies (Sprints, Inspect & Adapt, Showcase, Retrospective), ensuring a creative and collaborative environment.
• Sprint planning, including managing sprint scope and adjusting plans based on team cadence
• Manage the Sprint backlog.
• Track team progress and performance metrics including status updates on sprints.
• Identify and remove issues or obstacles that hinder the progress.
• Shield the MDT from external interruptions and distractions to ensure their focus on their work
• Fosters collaboration within the MDT and with other teams.
• Uses metrics to identify areas to improve Scrum and Agile processes and productivity (e.g., velocity, capacity, quality).
• Maintains tools (Jira administration) including allocating tickets to MDT members.
• Promote continuous improvement.
• Coach and mentor the team including ongoing education of the Programs standards (including Jira) and agreed ways of working.

• Code of conduct: Zero tolerance to not adhering to APS codes of conduct and/or relevant ACIC code of conduct policies and procedures.
• A minimum of 8 years ICT industry experience in a technical leadership role and recognised agile scrum master certification.
