You work across the full product lifecycle, turning early-stage prototypes into reliable, production-ready applications that teams can actually depend on. While initial versions may already exist, the real value lies in improving structure, scalability, and long-term usability. You operate in a fast-moving environment where your decisions are implemented quickly and your impact is directly visible.

The role

As a Freelance Full-Stack Product Engineer you’ll turn experimental apps into production-ready systems. You take loosely built prototypes and transform them into scalable, maintainable products. You work closely with Product to define what should be kept, improved, or rebuilt, and translate that into clean architecture and reliable code. You own the full stack, from frontend to backend to infrastructure, ensuring everything runs smoothly in production. Each day, you balance speed with quality, making pragmatic decisions that move the product forward without unnecessary complexity.

What You'll Do (and What You Don't)

• Maintain and improve applications across frontend, backend, and infrastructure
• Set up and manage deployments, cloud environments, and monitoring
• Ensure systems are secure, stable, and compliant with data/privacy standards
• Identify bottlenecks and improve performance, scalability, and reliability
• Collaborate closely with Product and stakeholders to define and deliver solutions
• Contribute to improving development practices and technical standards
• You won't wait for endless approvals
• You won't hide behind processes

You are comfortable working independently and taking full ownership of your work. You bring structure to ambiguous situations and make clear technical decisions. You communicate openly and align closely with Product, especially when priorities shift. You combine strong technical skills with a pragmatic mindset, ensuring what you build is both functional and sustainable in production.

What You'll Bring

• Strong experience with ReactJS and modern frontend development
• Experience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Firebase, or similar
• Experience with PostgreSQL / Supabase or comparable databases
• Solid understanding of system design, architecture, and scalability
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD
• Ability to deliver end-to-end solutions independently
• Pragmatic mindset, balancing speed, quality, and real-world impact
