Job Title: Java Backend (Nifi Apache)

Location: Toronto, ON (3x onsite a week)

Employment Type: Contract

Pay Rate: CAD$45 - $50/HR INC

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in SQL development and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in migration projects, software upgrades, and currency remediation initiatives. Exposure to Apache NiFi will be a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and SQL technologies.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and automated deployments.
  • Participate in migration projects, including system upgrades and data transformation activities.
  • Support software upgrade initiatives and ensure system stability post-deployment.
  • Contribute to currency remediation efforts by analyzing and updating legacy codebases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5 6 years of hands-on experience in Java development and SQL programming.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience with CI/CD tools and processes.
  • Proven experience in migration projects, software upgrades, and currency remediation initiatives.

Preferred Skills

  • Working knowledge of Apache NiFi is an added advantage.
