Overview:

SDS Oman is seeking a talented Network & Security Engineer to join our growing technical team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with enterprise networking and security technologies.

Technologies Required:

• HP Aruba.
• Huawei.
• F5.
• Palo Alto Networks.
• Fortinet.
• Endpoint security solutions such as Trend micro.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable network infrastructures.
• Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, switches, and load balancers.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Manage security tools and ensure compliance with industry best practices.
• Document configurations, network diagrams, and procedures.
• Provide support during outages and security incidents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in network and security engineering roles.
• Industry certifications are highly desirable (e.g., Cisco CCNP, PCNSE, HCIP, F5 Certified, Aruba Certified and Fortinet Certified NSE4/NSE7).
• Strong understanding of network protocols, cybersecurity principles, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing multi-vendor environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skill.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
