18 month Contract Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support the delivery of complex and mission-critical technology capabilities within a high-performing Agile environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a large-scale SAFe delivery portfolio, supporting multidisciplinary teams delivering innovative digital and cyber capability outcomes. You will play a key role in enabling Agile maturity, improving delivery flow, and fostering collaboration across technical and business stakeholders.

As the Scrum Master, you will work closely with Product Managers, Release Train Engineers, PMO teams, and delivery stakeholders to facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and ensure teams are delivering effectively within a SAFe framework.

You will help drive continuous improvement, maintain delivery discipline, and support program-level planning and governance activities.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, PI Planning, and Scrum of Scrums
• Coach and mentor teams in Scrum and SAFe Agile practices
• Support Product Managers with backlog refinement, feature decomposition, and sprint readiness
• Monitor Agile delivery metrics including velocity, burndown, predictability, and team capacity
• Identify, manage, and escalate delivery risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers
• Maintain strong Jira hygiene and reporting standards across delivery teams
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and Agile maturity uplift activities
• Collaborate with PMO and leadership teams to ensure alignment with governance and reporting requirements
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing, and delivery-focused team culture
  
  

• Experience working as a Scrum Master or Agile Team Coach within a SAFe environment
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and Scrum frameworks
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies across cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with Jira and Atlassian toolsets
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience supporting software delivery lifecycles in complex environments
• Experience within secure government, intellegence, defence sector
  
  

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
• SAFe certification (Leading SAFe or similar)
• Project Management certifications such as PRINCE2 Agile or PMBOK
  
  

• Work on large-scale, high-impact technology programs
