AI Engineer

Acolad is seeking a dynamic AI Engineer with strong experience in deploying machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) models into production. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming AI models into production-ready applications, with a strong emphasis on LLM-native development, vector databases, and AI-driven products and services.

You will work closely with data science and product teams, enabling rapid experimentation, iteration, and the delivery of scalable AI solutions. The role requires deep expertise in Python, cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs).

• Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability when moving models from experimental stages into production environments.
• Design, build, and maintain AI applications leveraging Large Language Models, using an experimentation-driven approach to unlock new capabilities.
• Utilize vector databases to improve retrieval performance and streamline AI workflows.
• Work closely with data scientists and product teams to integrate AI models into business operations through rapid experimentation and proof-of-concepts (PoCs).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AI models, including monitoring, feedback loops, and continuous improvement.
• Convert experimental models into production-grade applications using software engineering best practices, cloud architecture, and feedback mechanisms.

• Proven experience deploying ML/DL models into production at scale.
• Hands-on experience building AI-driven applications and services from experimental models to practical solutions.
• Strong understanding of LLM experimentation, deployment, and productionization.
• Knowledge of vector databases to enhance retrieval and AI system performance.
• Advanced Python skills and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Ability to design, test, and iterate AI and LLM solutions using both lean experimentation and structured workflows.
• Familiarity with MLOps pipelines, monitoring, optimization, and continuous feedback integration.
• Comfort working in fast-paced environments with agility and continuous improvement.
