Most Android jobs are basically:

The product here is a mobile SDK sitting inside banking apps, quietly detecting fraud, malware, overlays, tampering, rooted devices, weird runtime behaviour… all the fun stuff.

You’re shipping code into environments you absolutely do not control, and somehow it still needs to be:

• stable
• lightweight
• backwards compatible
• invisible to the end user

Proper engineering role.

More:

• threading
• lifecycle edge cases
• SDK architecture
• performance constraints
• long-term Android decisions that actually matter

Small senior team.No endless hierarchy. And importantly, mobile isn’t a side thing here.
