About the Role
This role is responsible for organizing & supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of investment and development projects, including budgeting, tendering, implementation, and reporting as well as being a key stakeholder about daily operations of the shopping mall. The position requires close coordination with technical, operational, and external partners in a live commercially operational environment.
Responsibilities
- Support planning and tracking of investment expenditures, including budget preparation and technical & financial feasibility studies
- Manage budgeting, tendering, contracting, implementation, and reporting processes for investment and shared-area projects
- Prepare project approval documentation and provide accurate, structured, and analytical reporting to senior management
- Support purchasing processes, including preparation of technical specifications and cost estimates, and evaluation of technical and commercial proposals
- Coordinate with project development consultants, operations, technical teams, service providers, and other internal stakeholders
- Identify potential operational and technical risks and take proactive mitigation actions
- Ensure projects are planned and delivered with minimal impact on ongoing operations and end-user experience
- Oversee tenant fit-out works and site activities to ensure compliance with technical and administrative standards
- Support compliance with applicable regulations and coordinate with relevant public and private institutions when required
- Contribute to the development and implementation of internal procedures, guidelines, and standards
- Support energy efficiency and sustainability-focused projects
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarte rly, and annual reports, business plans, and presentations
- Carry out tasks assigned by senior management I.e., Operations Director
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Civil or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 7 years of experience in project management within a live/operational structure
- Prior experience in retail, mixed-use, or commercial real estate projects is a strong asset
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in budget control, cost management, tendering, and contract administration
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and similar tools
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainability practices
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English
