Developer Advocate P2P

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled and community-driven professional to help shape the future of peer-to-peer technologies and decentralized applications. In this role, you will work at the intersection of developer relations, software engineering, and product evangelism, supporting the adoption of innovative P2P development tools and frameworks. You will engage directly with developers worldwide, create impactful technical content, and contribute to building a thriving developer ecosystem. The position offers a highly collaborative, remote-first environment where creativity, experimentation, and innovation are encouraged. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and marketing teams while representing cutting-edge technologies across conferences, online communities, and industry events. This role is ideal for someone passionate about open-source development, developer experience, and empowering builders through education and community engagement.

Accountabilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, open-source contributors, partners, and technical communities to drive adoption and engagement.
• Create high-quality technical content including tutorials, sample applications, videos, documentation, SDK guides, demos, and workshops tailored for developers.
• Advocate for peer-to-peer technologies through webinars, conferences, hackathons, AMAs, meetups, and online technical communities.
• Gather developer feedback and translate insights into actionable recommendations for product, engineering, and marketing teams.
• Support onboarding initiatives and improve developer experience by contributing to API design feedback, onboarding flows, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to support product launches, roadmap discussions, and developer-facing initiatives.
• Build prototypes and real-world implementations that demonstrate platform capabilities and best practices.
• Track community engagement, adoption metrics, and developer sentiment to measure impact and continuously improve outreach strategies.
• Contribute to thought leadership efforts through public speaking, technical storytelling, and participation in the broader developer ecosystem.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in software development, developer advocacy, developer relations, or technical community management.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and modern development ecosystems with the ability to write production-quality code.
• Hands-on experience building, testing, and maintaining web, mobile, desktop applications, or APIs.
• Solid experience with React Native and/or Electron for delivering user-focused applications.
• Proven ability to create engaging technical content such as blogs, tutorials, videos, documentation, and sample projects.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience engaging with developer communities through GitHub, social media, forums, meetups, or industry events.
• Familiarity with developer tools, SDKs, open-source collaboration, and developer experience best practices.
• Comfortable collaborating with engineering, product, and marketing teams in fast-paced, distributed environments.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Codex, or similar productivity-enhancing platforms is considered a strong asset.
• Passion for community building, mentoring developers, and advancing decentralized or peer-to-peer technologies.
