Job Title: Lead UI/UX Designer
Location: Toronto, Canada
Hourly Rate: $40 USD per hour
Job Description:
Zensar is seeking a UI/UX Design Lead to join our team in Toronto, Canada. The UI/UX Design Lead is responsible for shaping intuitive, visually engaging, and user-friendly digital experiences across Procurement's intake and triage platforms. This role leads the design process from research to delivery, mentors junior designers, and ensures consistency across procurement tools such as Workbench Lite and the Web Portal. The lead collaborates with SCM, BPO, and SCoE teams to align design strategies with business goals and drive innovation in user experience.
Digital portfolio, case studies, or offline work samples must be provided.
Key Requirements:
- 5–8 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio of web and mobile projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or related field.
- Expertise in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.).
- Proven ability to lead end-to-end design projects and mentor team members.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design, accessibility, and responsive design.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and iterating on feedback.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is an asset.
- Experience in agile environments and with design systems is preferred.
- Must have experience designing for procurement or supply chain platforms.
- Familiarity with Power Apps and MS Forms-based intake systems.
- Ability to translate complex workflows into intuitive UI components.
- Experience in building and maintaining scalable and reusable design systems and components.
