Network Operations Center Engineer

Job Description: NOC Engineer

Experience: 2+ Years

Location: Qatar

Preferred: Bilingual (Arabic Speaker)

Role Summary

Responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network using tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG
• Handle incidents, alerts, and outages within SLA
• Perform L1/L2 troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, MPLS, VPN)
• Log and track tickets in ServiceNow/Remedy
• Escalate issues as per process
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI Model, subnetting
• Basic routing & switching (BGP, OSPF)
• Familiarity with Cisco/Juniper devices
• Knowledge of monitoring & ticketing tools
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field
• CCNA or equivalent (preferred)
